Summary: Ko Gun is a very talented cake master, he has a wife and a son. Ko Gun is really too busy with making cakes, his wife can't take it anymore, she and her son feel neglected. She decides to leave her husband. Ko Gun makes a cake for his son, after he's done he rushes to see his son and wife. While he does that, he accidentally hits a taxi with an old woman in it. Because he's in a hurry he lies that the box with the cake in it is a bomb, he wants to run away but the is caught by the police. He has to go to jail because of the threat. In jail Ko Gun meets Suen Yu Lok.

Tong Sheung's boyfriend dumped her. Because of this she wants to prove to her ex-boyfriend that she can open a cake store. She uses all her money to open a cake store, but she can't bake a nice cake at all. Her father doesn't even like western cakes at all. His wife has left him and his family a long time ago, because she wanted to be a cake master. When Ko Gun is released from jail, a cake company, Gateaux, wants Ko Gun to be the head cook. The owner wants Ko Gun to replace Paul. But the owner's daughter Sa Lai doesn't want Paul to be replaced, she really dislikes Ko Gun and she wants to get rid of him. When Sheung's cake store is burned, she thinks Suen Yu Lok and Go Kun were the ones who burned her cake store. She tries to get a job at Gateaux, she gets it, together with Suen Yu Lok and Bo Long. A relative from Sheung is also working at Gateaux, Coco. Ko Gun is unhappy with the quality of the cakes at Gateaux. The people working at Gateaux think Ko Gun is an arrogant cook, because he critizes everyone.
